At Hatch and Bloom we believe every successful design process is an iterative mix of three phases: Insight, Ideation and Realization. Iterative because your specific challenge needs a unique approach (and sometimes the best ideas come from flipping the process upside-down). We could bore you with a tiresome, detailed model and description of how we work, but we know you won’t remember anyway.
Insight
Nothing is revealing as reality. When you’re not quite sure of what your customers and end-users really need, how your brand is perceived and when the next big trend will influence your product – reality is your best friend. Like Robin to Batman, like water to a fish. Researching reality is the way to achieve insight – your first and crucial step towards success.
Ideation
When hatching new ideas, much like Mother Nature, you want more than one idea to succeed. To hatch new ideas you want involvement and commitment, inspiring methods, structure and hands-on experience. Think aloud, be loud, be far out. It’s hard work – and fun.
Realization
To turn an idea into something real and successful is the tricky part. It’s not only a matter of skills, but of strong process management (even the most willing and patient CEO doesn't have limitless resources). Last, but not least: Time to market. It’s essential, no – it’s vital. Nobody cares about a new or improved brand, product or service three years too late.
